NATIONAL ASSEMBLY SPEAKER Moses Wetang’ula announced the death of Hon. Malulu on Monday, saying the third-term MP died on February 17, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. while receiving treatment at the Aga Khan Hospital, Nairobi.
“Members of Parliament, it is with sadness that I inform you about the death of our colleague Mr. Moses Malulu Injendi who left us this evening on February 17, 2024 at half past eleven in the Aga Khan Hospital, Nairobi,” he said.
Mr Injendi, who was serving his third term in parliament, was the Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Education.
Speaker Wetang’ula mentioned Mr Injendi as an MP who represented the people of his constituency with a spirit of dedication and high integrity.
“His contributions in the law-making processes, especially in the education sector and sugarcane cultivation, aimed at improving the lives of Kenyans, will be missed,” he explained.
Mr Injendi was first elected to Parliament in the 2013 general election on the Amani National Congress (ANC) ticket.
He returned to parliament after the 2017 general election on the ODM ticket.
