Various leaders of Mombasa and Coast have continued to promote and support the agenda of President William Ruto’s inclusive government.
Led by Mombasa county Governor, Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir, who has congratulated President Ruto for taking the responsibility of bringing together different leaders and setting aside political and ethnic differences.
Speaking in the Likoni constituency during the opening of the Likoni technical college, governor Nassir strongly criticized former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua for what he described as promoting bad politics and tribalism, describing Gachagua as a ‘madman’ who deserves to go to a mental health center.
“The one who brings tribalism to Kenya is a madman with personal goals and deserves to go to a mental health center, let me tell the truth, I will talk about what is there. Today we are being told about the Chief Justice, because CJ belongs to Meru and Embu alone? The Chief Justice is all Kenyans, all races, all religions and all races. Don’t sabotage someone for your personal goals.” Nassir said.
Sports and youth affairs CS Salim Mvurya has urged the president to continue with the performance and to turn his back on all the enemies of the government, promising that the leaders of the coastal region support his inclusive government.
“We supported you when you created an inclusive government for everyone, and it will be able to bring stability to development and the economy.
Likoni Member of Parliament Mishi Juma Mboko praised the various positions in the government given to some ODM leaders, mentioning that it is a good opportunity for them and the people of the coast to support the government.
Mishi pointed out that his side of the ODM party will get more candidates in the government.
“During Ruto’s time we got a ministry, we got Hassan Joho, we got John Mbadi, Opiyo Wandayi, Attorney General and now we will get permanent secretaries who will be appointed by William Ruto’s government.” Mishi said.
