President Ruto has announced that SHA will pay current NHIF claims within a month, having settled KSh18.2B in undisputed claims since Oct 1, 2024.
Ruto says that Government will pay in full all hospitals contracted by NHIF with claims totaling Sh10 million and below.
He says the remaining hospitals with claims of Sh10 million and above set to be subjected to a verification process within 90 days.
He further says SHA has already paid KSh 18.2 billion in undisputed claims, and moving forward, all current claims will be settled within a month.
