Alshabaab lectures locals, distributes tende in Lamu.
Tension is mounting in Mangai area of Lamu after
over 100 heavily armed Al-Shabaab militants reportedly invaded a village yesterday evening.
According to reports the militants assembled the villagers, lectured and shockingly distributed dates (Tende) to them before departing.
The militants who were armed with AK-47 rifles and on a face, masks entered the village yesterday evening at 6:30PM as residents break their fast.
They reportedly lectured the locals for about 30 minutes and suspected fled into a nearby Boni forest.
Authorities have launched investigations into the incident.
