Police in Marsabit County are investigating an incident where a businessman selling Miraa was stabbed to death by three young men who approached him and demanded free Miraa from him.
According to reports, the three suspects engaged with the deceased, before stabbing him on the head with a knife, which had stuck on his head.
“The three men arrived and demanded that they be given Miraa by force, na hapo ndio mambo ilharibikia, they removed a knife and in that commotion, they stabbed the Miraa man on the head and ran way,” a witnessed narrated.
The deceased was rushed to Marsabit Teaching and Referral Hospital, where he succumbed from the injuries he sustained following the attack.
Currently, one of the three suspects has been arrested as police continue to search for the two who managed to escape after committing a heinous act.
