After months of speculation, singer Teyana Taylor and former NBA player Iman Shumpert have officially finalized their divorce—and the settlement heavily favors Tay
According to court documents, Taylor will walk away with a massive financial package. She is set to receive $10 million in cash, along with four luxury homes valued at an additional $10 million. The singer also retains ownership of several high-end vehicles, including a $300,000 Maybach, an $80,000 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, and a $700,000 tour bus.
Perhaps most notably, Taylor will keep full control of her companies and brands. Despite receiving 75% of Shumpert’s total wealth, she walks away with her businesses untouched. Meanwhile, Shumpert—who had placed all of his assets in a joint account during their marriage—is left with only $2 million and no property of his own.
The court also awarded Taylor $8,000 per month in child support. Shumpert is additionally responsible for covering their children’s tuition fees and medical expenses.
The financial fallout stems largely from a clause in their marriage contract, reportedly triggered by Shumpert’s infidelity. His breach of the agreement ultimately led to the one-sided settlement.
The split marks a dramatic end to what was once seen as a power couple in the entertainment and sports world. While fans are still processing the news, Taylor appears to have come out on top—professionally, financially, and as a mother securing her children’s future.
