Uasin Gishu Woman Representative received a lot of backlash from Kenyans, following her dressing over the weekend, which many felt was out of question from such a high profile leader.
A captured addressing resident in Uasin Gishu, Shollei was wearing a cream-like boots and jacket, with a navy blue trouser, purple blouse, and a red scarf around her neck.
My dress, my choice irritating Kenyans online who analyzed and faulted Shollei’s weekend look, some arguing that money can never buy class while others calling on fashion police to arrest her.

“Money can never buy class,” Nyambura Ndung’u commented.
“Resembles a female head of bandits,” Rebel wrote.
“She should be arrested by the fusion cop, how can you be wealthy and in power but still dress like a goon?” Asweetoo added.
“For a minute I thought it is Wajackoya young sibling,” Ngugi Dann wrote.
“She looks like a Vietnamese soldier giving morale to her fellow soldiers,” Vikimu Vikimu.
“My women representative state of mind must be far way from stable bwana cheyaman,” Kemboi Rotich said.
“She must have been from her farm direct to the function,” Cheserek Jonah commented.

Shollei and her counterpart from Nairobi Esther Passaris have been on public scrutiny over their recent remarks, and any opportunity by Kenyans to call them out is never missed, taking side with the Kenya Kwanza government, and shunning to call their atrocities out.
