Kikuyu comedian Zacharia Kariuki famously known as KK Mwenyewe passed on early Tuesday morning at Kiambu Level 5 Hospital while receiving treatment.
KK Mwenyewe went ill shortly before his demise, rose to fame after imitating former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua, perfectly mimicking his sense fashion, mannerism and speech, made him a Tiktok sensational for many, after Kenya Kwanza government came into power.
With some failing to come to terms of KK Mwenyewe’s sudden death, described life as fickle hoping that former DP Gachagua had fulfilled his wish of meeting him.

Busia senator Okiya Omtatah mourning the comedian for his unique ability to entertain and unite Kenyans through his comic skits, terming his death as a lose to the comedy industry.
“I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Zakaria Kariuki, popularly known as Mr. KK Mwenyewe, a young and talented comedian whose voice resonated with the spirit of a generation. Through satire and art, Mr. KK courageously held a mirror to society, using humor not to divide, but to awaken, educate, and unite.
