The Kenyan reggae fraternity has been thrown into mourning after the death of hypemaster John Maina famously known as MC Fullstop on Friday, August 1 evening.
In his post the talented creative master expressed his last final push, revealing he was diagnosed with Lung Tuberculosis in 2021, in 2022 he was diagnosed with Throat Tuberculosis, which affected his voice, mobility and talking.
In an emotional post expressing his urge to leave the world, MC Fullstop stated that his last remaining lung (left) had also failed, stating that it was his time hang up the boots, also thanking his fans for supporting him all through his career.
“‘Hii imeenda’ literally. My left lung has totally collapsed nimebaki na moa. In 2021 I was diagnosec with TB ya lungs ikasosi lungs kabisa. 2022 nikapata TB ya throat nayo ikanimaliza sauti, running, walking, kuongea ni shida. Alfu lungs zina ufala unlike liver, haiwezi jiheal itabidi nijipange hapa naona niki hang boots. I just wanna say thanks kwa wale wamekuwa wakinisupport in this difficult moments God awa bless tu sana,” read the post.
Taking to remember the legendary moments and how he revolutionized the MCing game in the country with his creative hypes, Kenyans from entertainment to others mourned MC Fullstop as a unique talented hypemaster.

MC Fullstop worked at NRG radio, hosted for a long time at K24 reggae show on Saturday Riddim Vibez and Thursdays, as well performed at events, before he was taken ill
