The Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) has announced a festive season promotion offering free and discounted park entry to Kenyans from December 26 to 31, as part of efforts to encourage domestic tourism.
Under the initiative, Kenyans will enjoy free entry to selected national parks, along with discounted rates, accommodation incentives, and shuttle bus services to make park visits more accessible during the holiday period.
KWS has also introduced special group travel incentives. For every five passengers travelling in a five-seater vehicle, one child will be granted free entry. Groups arriving in fully occupied 25 seater buses will receive free entry for two adults, while those using seven-seater vans or eight-seater Land Cruisers will be eligible for free entry for one adult.
In addition to entry offers, KWS has extended accommodation benefits within park managed facilities. Visitors who book and stay for three consecutive nights will receive the fourth night free.
The festive promotion aims to boost local tourism, promote conservation awareness, and give Kenyans an opportunity to explore the country’s rich wildlife heritage during the holiday season.
