Bahati Youths have booked their place in the Mannabay Foundation volleyball Tournament final after sweeping Kwa Buda in 3- 0 straight sets during a thrilling semifinal clash.
The youthful side showed composure under pressure, closing out the match with scores of 26–24, 26–24, and 25–21, to secure a convincing 3-0 victory and advance to the title showdown.
In the second semifinal, Kagoto outclassed Murunyu win a 3–1.
Kagoto won the opening set 25–18, but Murunyu fought back to claim the second set 26–24. Kagoto then tightened their grip on the game, clinching the remaining sets 25–14 and 25–16 to seal their progression.
The final will now see Kagoto face Bahati Youths, with the winners set to walk away with KSh 40,000. The runners-up will earn KSh 30,000, while the third-placed team will receive KSh 20,000.
Tournament chairman James Kamau noted that this year’s competition, which began at ward level, brought together 15 teams from all five wards of Bahati Constituency, providing an important platform to nurture local volleyball talent and promote community sports development.
