EPRA plans to increase fuel prices.
EPRA plans to increase fuel prices with additional charges with the new adjustments expected to directly impact both the retail price of petrol and the operational costs of oil dealers.
Petrol prices will rise by Sh7.80 per liter to cover rising costs for oil marketers and transporters, with the adjustments set to be implemented gradually.
Here’s how;
—Retailers to get Sh4.6 more per liter.
—Wholesalers to get Sh1.6 more
—Transporters to get Sh0.6 more
—Storage costs to rise by Sh0.2
—Financing costs to increase by Sh0.7
The new rates could push pump prices higher in the next review as distribution costs rise.
