Political temperatures in Isiolo County could rise further, following the attack by goons to popular blogger and Tiktoker Ismail Abdikadir, which has left him in fighting for his life.
Abdikadir, popular known as PFA from Bulapesa, is currently at Isiolo County Referral Hospital in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), after being struck on the head.
Closly known for his upport to Isiolo County Assembly Speaker Mohamed Roba, is reportedly to have been trailed by a Probox with a registration number yet to be established, who allegedly attacked him.
The blogger had claimed receiving threatening messages and calls from an unknown number for days before executing their evil plan over his political stand to support Roba.
In pictures shared online, Abdikadir X-ray report shows a cracked skull from being struck by an object on the head an, showing the massive impact of the attack.
The attack on Abdikadir comes a week after a vocal elderly man, known for his political activism in the county was discovered partially burnt and dead at Prison farm (Shamba la prison) at Kambi Bulle, few hours after the impeachment of Governor Abdi Guyo, by the County Assembly of Isiolo.
The incident further heightening political tension, following chaos currently witnessed in the county, with politics of removal from office Guyo fills the county.
Cases of supporters of opposing political supporters being attacked have been on the rise recently. On Saturday, former Motosiet Member of County Assembly (MCA) Benard Muganda a staunch supporter of Trans Nzoia county governor George Natembeya was attacked by youths armed with rungus and pangas in Chwele Bungoma County.
Muganda who is currently admitted at the Kijana Wamalwa Teaching and Referral Hospital sustained serious eye injury and other blunt trauma from the unexpected attack from the goons.
Politicians from different divides have condemned the act, calling for political tolerance and accommodation from each other, as such incidents escalate situations and anger from opposing supporters.
