Barely a day after the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) launched a new hotline number 0709 570 000 dubbed Fichua Kwa DCI, Kenyans have not failed to take their pleas before the investigative agency of government.
On Wednesday, a Kenyan shared a screenshot of his report to the hotline his case, which left netizens entertained with his courage.
In the shared screenshot, the Kenyan had shared the photo of Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen and captioned below him, “The Thief Kipchumba Murkomen”, and a second photo of the Head of State captioned three full names.
The man identified himself as Mwabili Mwagodi, accused Ruto of planning a genocide after 2027 elections, which will be under the command of Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Eliud Lagat. Mwagodi also left his National identification card (ID) number after ‘Kufichua kwa DCI”.

According to Mohamed Amin, Fichua Kwa DCI’ call Centre facilitates anonymous criminal intelligence reports from both local and international sources via the toll-free line 0800 722 203. Following the upgrade, it now also operates through a WhatsApp.
Additionally, The Centre enables the public to share real-time crime information confidentially and safely, leading to valuable intelligence that has resulted in recoveries, arrests, interceptions, and interventions.
In his address, Murkomen stated that the launch demonstrates a strong commitment to proactive public safety by embracing people-centered policing, fostering greater collaboration between law enforcement officers and the community.
