After his controversial post on becoming the next Secretary General of the former President Uhuru Kenyatta led party Jubilee, come rain come sunshine, leaders from both political divide have expressed their reactions on President William Ruto’s Senior Economic Advisor Moses Kuria’s post.
EALA MP Kanini Kega questioned the new twist by Kuria, why he is fighting for the position, down from being a Cabinet Secretary to now Senior Political Advisor, which he said does not add up.
“Surely my friend MK, you are a party leader, Former CS, and currently, the president’s you want to leave all those trappings and take a subordinate position of SG! Something isn’t adding up,” Kega responded on the post.
His counterpart Starehe MP Amos Mwago saying that the move by Kuria is to see the downfall of the party, which he blatantly told him his mission will not succeed, reminding him that he has decided to return to their leader Kenyatta, after insulting him in 2022.
“Yani umezurura ukaona urudi nyumbani after kutusi kiongozi wetu Uhuru Kenyatta, we know you have one mission, kuangusha jubilee na hapo umegonga ukuta bro,” Mwago said.
Mark Mwenje from Wiper Party and Embakasi West Constituency, dismissed Kuria, stating that he can never be the party’s SG.
“Wewe naye huwezi kuwa secretary General…..,” Mwenje wrote.

“Jamaa na chama yake aligeuziwa so he wants nothing else but to dismantle jubilee..” Maniel further commented.
Kuria is the party leader of Chama Cha Kazi (CCK), which joined Kenya Kwanza in the 2022 general elections, that he has since folded after calls to make a single party by the ruling coalition.
On Friday, Milimani High Court Civic Division validated the resolution made at the 2023 NDC, effectively overturning a previous decision by the Internal Disputes Resolution Committee (IDRC) that had nullified the National Delegates Convention (NDC), which saw Kenyatta regain full custody of the party.
Kuria was also among the leaders to congratulate Kenyatta, challenging him of the task ahead of him t unite Kenyans, after taking over the leadership from the Kega led fraction.
