Liverpool open an 11-point gap at the top of the EPL table.
Liverpool have widened their gap with second-placed Arsenal to 11 points after a 2-0 win over defending champion Manchester City.
In the match played at the Etihad Stadium, Liverpool scored early in the 14th minute through Mohamed Salah.
Dominic Szoboszlai scored a second goal in the 37th minute putting Liverpool ahead in the first half.
Manchester City’s efforts to come back in the second half were unsuccessful.
At the moment, Liverpool are still at the top of the Premier League table with 64 points after 26 matches, 11 points more than number two Arsenal, who have scored 53 points in the 26 matches they have played this season.
