Liverpool open a 13-point gap at the top of the EPL table.
Liverpool extended their gap with second-placed Arsenal to 13 points after a 2-0 win over Newcastle United.
In the match played at Anfield, Liverpool scored early in the 11th minute through player Dominic Szoboszlai who connected Luis Diaz’s cross.
The second goal was scored by player Alexis Mac Allister in the 63rd minute after a through pass from the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah in the second half.
Liverpool are still at the top of the Premier League table with 67 points after 28 matches, 13 points ahead of number two Arsenal, who have gathered 54 points in the 27 matches they have played this season.
