Marsabit county Department of Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries Development has dispatched the first batch of seeds to farmers in Saku sub county.
This initial distribution includes early-maturing DH 04 maize, Boma Rhodes grass, and sunflower seeds.
The initiative aims to support farmers by providing them with high-quality seeds suited to the region’s climate and growing conditions.
The early-maturing maize variety seeds will help help the farmers to adapt to changing climate patterns and also increase their yield within a shorter growing season.
