Marsabit Governor Mahmoud Ali has made changes in his administration that aim to boost efficiency and timely delivery of service to the residents of Marsabit. The changes include restructuring and redeployment of County Executive Committee Members (CECMs) and chief officers.
According to a circular shared on changes, Ali emphasizes that the change was guided by public interest, merit and integrity.
“The reorganisation marks a renewed commitment to strengthening governance systems and accelerate the county’s development agenda through a result-oriented and people-centered team,” Barrile Abduba County Spokesperson stated.
Effected changes have seen Dr. Halkano Arero appointed acting County Secretary and Head of Public Service Board, while Abdo Alla Gucha Chief of Staff, Executive Office of the Governor. Adan Guyo Kanano is the current CECMs Agriculture, Livestock and Fishery Development.
