Kenyan international striker Michael Olunga has officially joined Qatari side Al Arabi SC, marking the next chapter in his football career after parting ways with Al Duhail SC.
The 31-year-old forward, widely regarded as one of Kenya’s finest football exports, sealed the transfer following successful negotiations between the two Qatari clubs. Olunga leaves Al Duhail after a highly productive stint that saw him emerge as one of the most prolific strikers in the Qatar Stars League (QSL).
During his time at Al Duhail, Olunga made a significant impact, leading the club to multiple titles including the Qatari Stars League, Qatar Cup, and Emir Cup. He consistently topped the scoring charts, earning praise for his exceptional finishing, aerial strength, and work ethic.
In an official statement, Al Arabi SC welcomed Olunga to the club, expressing their excitement about adding his experience and proven goal-scoring ability to their squad. “Michael Olunga is a world-class striker whose track record speaks for itself.
