A family in Nyasoko area in Rongo Migori County has been thrown into mourning, after body of their son who went missing was discovered duped in a near bush.
The deceased identified as Billy Ochieng’ 33-years-old went missing for a couple of days before his father on the way to the market on Sunday, June 29.
According to his mother Monica Adhiambo, her son’s mysterious death remains shocking, as it was his father that discovered after several failed search.
“We looked for Ochieng for days, when his father was on his way to Riosir market on Sunday, and that is how he was able to identify that the person lying lifeless on the bush was our son Ochieng’,” she painfully narrated to journalists.
The distressed mother said she last saw her son alive on Friday, June 27 at their home, only for him to be found dead two days later. Adhiambo called for a through and speedy investigation by officers to investigate and unravel the mysterious death of his son.
“I just want justice for my son, what happened to him, who killed him and why,” she further stated.
The body of the deceased was taken to Migori County Referral Hospital morgue, as police state investigations and probing on the cause of the death of the 33-year-old.
Similarly, a body of an elderly man was discovered burnt and dumped at Prisons Farm in on Friday in Isiolo County. The politically vocal elder.
Residents linked his unfortunate death to his political activism in the county, urging residents to participate in the public participation motion of the impeachment of embattled Governor Abdi Guyo.
The police in Isiolo launched a manhunt to find the perpetrators of the heinious act, as investigations in the motive of his death began.
