The Kenyan music industry has been thrown into mourning after the death of Kisumu-based event planner Maurice Ryan AKA Morey, who sadly passed on Sunday evening.
Morey known for supporting local artists in Kisumu, and planning eventful musical concerts has been sick for awhile, and was recovering from a brain surgery, when complications emerged leading to his death.
His contribution and positive impact in the local showbiz industry will remain undeniable, with many knowing him from close ties with King Kaka Empire.
The deceased has been described by celebrities as kind-hearted, loyal, true friend and passionate about changing the Kenya entertainment industry. Among celebrities who mourned him include Lang’ata MP Jalang’oo, Motif Don, Willis Raburu, King Kaka, Arrow Boy among others.
