Artist Chris Brown has filed a lawsuit against Warner Bros demanding $500 million in damages for false allegations made in the #ChrisBrownAHistoryofViolence docuseries.
In the series, Chris is accused of drugging and sexually assaulting a woman named Jane Doe, in an incident that occurred on a luxury yacht allegedly owned by Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
Chris claims these claims were repeatedly denied and that Jane Doe was criticized as a victim of sexual violence.
The Jane Doe case against Chris was dismissed in 2022 after his lawyer withdrew.
Chris insists he has never been convicted of a sexual offense, and says the docuseries portrays him as a rape suspect without any evidence.
If he wins this case, he plans to give part of the compensation to victims of sexual violence.
