A woman who weighs 154 kg, Jennifer Wilson, has been sentenced to 6 years in prison after killing her son by sleeping on him for five minutes claiming he was having bad behavior.
Jennifer told police that the child, Dakota, was her adopted son and that he ran away from home before the incident.
Witnesses interviewed by the police explained that Dakota once ran to a neighbor’s house and asked them to help take him as their child.
Police found injuries on the neck and chest of Dakota, who was 1.47 meters tall and weighed 41 kilograms, while the mother was 1.50 meters tall and weighed 154 kilograms.
Jennifer Wilson admitted that she restrained him by putting him to sleep for five minutes due to his behavior, which led to the boy’s tragic death.
