The Tanzania Mainland Premier League match between Simba and Azam, which was scheduled to be held at the KMC stadium, will now be held at the Benjamin Mkapa stadium, Dar es Salaam.
Simba will host Azam in the ‘Mzizima Derby’ game on February 24 in the evening.
The Tanzania Premier League Board (TPLB) statement has said that the reason for the change is to give more fans a chance to attend the game, which is one of the biggest games of the Premier League on the continent.
The Benjamin Mkapa stadium with a capacity of 60,000 fans has been used for many big games involving more fans.
Simba is second in the league standings with 50 points after 19 games while Azam is third with 43 points after 20 games.
