Somali army returns two firearms belonging to Kenyan police officers who were killed in Mandera.
Somali army has returned 2 firearms belonging to Kenyan police officers who were killed and injured during an attack on security post near the Kenya-Somalia border in Mandera.
The weapons, A G3 and AK47 rifle were handed over to Mandera security team.
The weapons were stolen by gunmen who ambushed Kenya police officers manning the border 4 point in Mandera.
During the ambush, A Kenyan police Constable was killed on the spot and another officer sustained gunshot wounds.
The deadly attack is linked to an act of retaliation following arrest of a terror suspect involved in a failed abduction attempt targeting Chinese workers in Mandera.
