Kapseret legislator Oscar Sudi has furiously hit out at DCP party leader and former deputy Rigathi Gachagua over his remarks on Sudi’s empowerment program that was held in Kapseret Eldoret Uasin Gishu County.
Sudi furiously called out Gachagua for failing to make friends and deliver to his people in the two terms he was in office as deputy president. He refuted claims that President William Ruto donated the motorbikes, milk cans and other machines including Nissans.
According to the controversial lawmaker, the KSh 45 million empowerment program is his effort, and nothing from the taxpayers money was used to prepare the decorated event that was graced by powerful leaders from the Kenya Kwanza regime.
“Ati magari, pikiki, sijui mitungi ya maziwa sijui nini ati William Ruto ametumana hapa. Nataka niambie wewe Riggy G, ujinga mimi usinilitee, pelekea watu wengine, mimi nimefanya kazi kwa miaka mingi. Wewe umekuwa kwa serikali miaka mbili ukashindwa kutafuta marafiki, wewe sijui umepewa watu nini?” Sudi furiously remarked.
Sudi said that he will not stop working for the people, and will tour all parts of the country including Mt.Kenya region uniting Kenyans, unlike Gachagua, who he claimed his rallies are full of misinformation, and said they will dethrone and impeach him again Mt.Kenya.
“We will work for our people, walk across the country including Mt. Kenya and unite Kenyans unlike you, who go about talking about nothing. We will come and impeach you again in Mt. Kenya! Mbadi is here and can confirm that we did not use any taxpayers money,” he remarked.
He further disclosed that Treasury CS John Mbadi had donated KSh 1.5 million to support the empowerment program for youths and women in his constituency.
The mega empowerment program has caused a stir online, with Kenyans not only questioning the source of the money funding the program, but also others calling out their MPs for failing to deliver programs that fully empower them.
The event was also graced by Cabinet Secretarty Kipchumba Murkomen, MPs Didmus Barasa, Kimani Ichungw’ah among others and senators across North and South Rift.
