A surprising RESEARCH conducted by the University of Wisconsin-Madison has revealed that calling your mother can reduce stress and anxiety.
This is because the mother’s voice increases the level of oxytocin, a hormone associated with comfort and bonding. Experiments conducted on young girls showed that face-to-face meetings and phone conversations with their mothers reduce anxiety.
Therefore, this study shows the importance of communicating with our mothers, whether by phone or in person, to reduce emotional pain and enhance our well-being.
